Thompson & Morgan Dwarf Bean 'Impero Bianco'

These climbing beans have 13-14cm long pods that are red and cream striped. The pods have 6 or 7 beans inside. The beans can be harvested over the summer but are mostly harvested in autumn, when the beans are fully grown.

Recipe: Minestrone with Dwarf Beans.

1. Marinate onion rings, carrots, potatoes, celery and pumpkin in olive oil and fry.
2. Add tomatoes, beans and water to the fried veggies and cook.
3. Bring to a light boil, then garnish with parsley and parmesan cheese and serve with toasted bread.
