Mein kleiner Garten Bat House

Bats often find it difficult to find safe places to sleep as a lot of their natural habitats are being torn down to make way for new buildings. Hanging a bat box makes it easy to support them! Children love to watch bats as they wheel around in the sky at night and as they crawl back into their homes.

This elegant box was made of fir, spruce and oak wood from the Palatinate Forest and the roof is made of natural slate. The box was made with a sloping front wall that is grooved on the inside to allow the bats to have the cosiness that they love in a habitat.

The bat house offers bats a place to sleep, safely retreat and raise their babies.
