Valerianella locusta

Description
Crisp, tender and tasty corn salad, also called Rapunzel or Lamb's Lettuce (Valeria locusta). The vitamin C rich, spoon-shaped leaves have a nutty flavor. "Juwallon" can be harvested in the fall and can survive the winter if covered. Harvest in late fall through the new year. The leaf rosettes need very little space, which is an advantage especially in the greenhouse. The dark green, crunchy leaves are easy to harvest and don't take much effort to clean.
