Description
The fine scent of this basil variety is intensely reminiscent of cinnamon. It's flavour is perfect for applesauce, ice cream or cocktails. The variety has rich green, medium-sized leaves with violet stems.
The young shoots can be picked over the young leaf axils and can be used for fresh consumption. This encourages new leaves to grow. Later, the stems and the leaves can be harvested. They are ideal for making pesto!
Tip:
- The seeds germinate in the light- do not cover the seeds with soil, just press them into moist soil!
