Oase AquaActiv PondClear, 500 ml

Get wonderfully clear water in your pond in no time with AquaActiv PondClear by Oase! Its innovative composition eliminates the finest, non-filterable impurities, heavy metals and phosphates.

AquaActiv PondClear binds organic and mineral turbidity (cloudiness) caused by sources such as leaves or fish waste. This creates a sludge of flakes that only needs to be skimmed off afterwards with a net. What remains is wonderfully clear pond water!

Dosage and application:

• Standard dosage: 50 ml product (with measuring cup) to 1,000 litres of pond water.
• Dosage for high turbidity: 100 ml to 2,000 litres of pond water.
• Application: Spread evenly over the pond surface with a watering spray.
• Filter cleaning: Clean the filter before and after use.

Oxygen supply and safety:

• CAUTION: Risk of Oxygen Depletion: The flocculation (clumping) of particles leads to oxygen depletion, which is particularly dangerous in warm water temperatures and cases of heavy turbidity.
• Aeration: During application and while flocculation persists, sufficient oxygen supply must be ensured by the continuous operation of pumps or by aeration. Observe the fish closely!
• Sensitive fish stock: For sensitive animals (e.g., newly introduced fish), use only 1/3 of the normal dose.
• New pond stocking: The safety waiting period before (re)stocking the pond is a minimum of 14 days.

Important requirements (water values):

• pH value: Only use if the pH value is between 6.5 and 9.5 (check with Quick-Stick).
• Carbonate hardness (KH): Only use if the carbonate hardness is above 3 °dKH.
• Pre-treatment: For KH values below 3 °dKH, please treat with PondClear or AquaActiv OptiPond beforehand.
• Determining the carbonate hardness: Immerse the strip briefly (1 second), shake it slightly and read after 1 minute.

Note:

• For safe use, a minimum carbonate hardness of 3° dKH is required; a quick test is included.
• Not suitable for algae control.
