Description
Round, apple sized zucchini. Very popular for halving and filling with a minced mixture, egg or gratin with cheese recipes. Especially tasty tender young fruits appear on the bushy-growing (not creeping) plants in large numbers. The big yellow flowers are a crunchy delicacy and open in the morning and close at noon again. Dip in beaten eggs and fry them in hot fat. Depending on your taste you can sprinkle salt or sugar over them for the final touch.
