Dahlias belong to the sunflower family. They are native to the high plains of Mexico and Guatemala. They are popular ornamental plants with large, decorative flowers.

They grow wonderful blossoms from summer to autumn.

Note:

Take the flower bulbs out of the ground in autumn as they are not hardy.
