Description
The Crocosmia Lucifer belong to the family of irises and are similar to small gladioli. Originally from South Africa they are mainly from the sub-Saharan area, some are even found in Madagascar. The grass-like leaves of the plant are actually evergreen, but they are not frost resistant and therefore die off. With good care and warm conditions (eg in July), the Crocosmia multiply very quickly.
