Beetroot Seeds
Grow delicious beets from seed!
Beets are relatives of spinach and chard. The leaves of the young plants can be used for mixed salads and vegetables. The young, fresh tubers can be enjoyed raw, while mature beets are mostly cooked. They are undemanding and easy to grow in sunny to partially shady locations. The plants should be kept moist in order to develop beautiful fruits. Good planting partners are turnip greens, cucumbers and leafy lettuces.
