Description
The Australian chestnut "Black Bean" has shiny, dark green leaves and can be cultivated as a potted plant or bonsai. The large, yellow-orange flowers are strikingly beautiful. While young, it needs to be protected in the winter and placed in a bright, frost-free spot. After about eight years, the Australian chestnut can tolerate very light frost.
