This beautiful Mediterranean pine can be found mainly in the northern Mediterranean, requires little care and is the only type of pine tree that can be kept in the house. It can be planted in a large pot or planter. Enjoy a Mediterranean holiday feeling at home!

  • Spicy scent
  • Evergreen
  • Easy to care for & undemanding
  • For balconies, terraces and the garden

Soak the seeds for about 12 hours in room temperature water, then place them on damp soil and cover them with 1 cm of soil. After about 7-10 days, the first seeds will germinate at a temperature of 20-25 ° C.

The pine loves a bright, sunny place. It can be grown outdoors from May to September.

The ideal soil mixture consists of 2/3 potting soil or garden soil and 1/3 sand. The stone pie is very resistant to heat and drought - so you do not necessarily need to water it regularly.
From April to October, you should fertilize the plant at 3-week intervals. Every 2-3 years the plant should be repotted.

Wintering notes:

  • The pine is not hardy.
  • Water in a cool location. Only use a little water as the plant easily becomes waterlogged.
