Alfalfa sprouts or microgreens are a fantastic way to add variety to your meals. Quick and easy to grow at home, they add a touch of crisp, vibrant freshness to any dish as a garnish, topping or ingredient. Their mild, nutty flavour goes well with stir-fries, smoothies, salads, wraps, and more.

Sprouts:

• Rinse the seeds and soak for 6-8 hours,
• Distribute evenly in a sprouting jar and place in a bright location
• Harvest after they germinate.
• Rinse several times with fresh water.

Microgreens:

• Distribute the seeds evenly in a bowl (on soil, cotton wool or kitchen paper). Do not sow too densely.
• Place in a bright location and allow to germinate.
• Water twice daily.

The sprouts or microgreens can be stored in a sealed container in the refrigerator for a few days. Please ensure proper hygiene throughout the growing process.
