Description
Technically speaking, the Tropical Melon Tree is not a typical tree, as its trunk does not become woody. Furthermore, botanically speaking, the large fruits are classfied as berries. A suuny location is particularly important for this plant to thrive.
Tips for cultivation:
- Soak seeds in water overnight
- Then place approx. 1 cm deep in moist potting soil
- Cover with cling film and provide it with holes
- Remove the film for approx. 2 hours every two to three days
- The substrate should be kept moist, but not wet
