Naturkraftwerk "Your Christmas Tree 2029" Growing Set

A Christmas tree you grow yourself is probably the most sustainable Christmas present you can find. Since the little tree needs a little time before it's ready to hold Christmas decorations, you can enjoy watching it grow every year. The tree will be ready to decorate around 2029.

The Nordmann fir is one of the most popular Christmas trees because it smells wonderful, has soft needs and has a rich green colour. It's a joy to watch your tree grow as you look forward to future Christmases!

Contents:

• • 5 Nordmann fir seeds (lat. Abies nordmanniana)
• • 1 compostable coconut pot
• • 1 coconut soil tablet
• • 1 guide book for growing

Cultivation:

• Soak the seeds in cold water for about 12 hours.
• Store the seeds in an air-permeable bowl in the refrigerator for approx. 12 hours.
• Remove the seeds from the refrigerator and moisten with cold water. Be careful not to leave any water in the bowl.
• Repeat every two days.
• After 3 to 5 weeks, the first white shoots will appear - the seedling can now be planted.
• Place the coconut soil tablet in the pot and add water until it swells.
• Add a maximum of 2 seeds approx. 1 cm deep in the coconut substrate.
• Move the coconut pot in a sunny, warm place.
• Fertilise when the plant is about 10 cm tall.

Additional:

• When the plant is about 10 cm tall, it can be transplanted either into a pot or into the garden.
• Protect the tree from frost for the first few years.
• It takes about 7 years to grow a stately Christmas tree (approx. 2 m).
