This new breed of lettuce is resistant to the Nasonovia ribisnigri aphid (breed 0), so your appetite can go unspoiled. Thanks to its natural resistance, you can enjoy every head of this wonderfully crisp salad. Since the lettuce is also resistant to downy mildew (breeds 1 - 25), you enjoy great harvest security. This means you can do away with spraying the lettuce, for the most part.

'Navara' impresses with very high yields and has large, open heads with delicate, long leaves, robust growth, an intense colour and harvest security. 'Navara' is largely bolt resistant and lush in growth. The heads stay fresh for a long time when stored cool (eg in a refrigerator).
