Description
This wild tomato variety, whose origins can be traced back to the time of Christopher Columbus, produces an abundance of small, bright red fruits with a wonderfully sweet flavour. They are perfect for enjoying fresh as a snack and are a hit with children and adults alike.
Our Tips:
- Germination Temperature: 20 to 25°C.
- No "Pinching Out" Required: Unlike regular tomatoes, this variety does not need its side shoots removed (no suckering).
- Natural Resilience: Features a high natural resistance to late blight (Phytophthora) as well as numerous other common tomato diseases.
- Support: While robust, it is helpful to support the main shoot or train the plant upward along a trellis or fence.
