Description

"Uchiki Kuri" is a Japanese breed with a strong flavour reminiscent of sweet chestnuts. The fruits are onion-shaped and grow numerously on the plant. The pumpkin has a high content of carotenoids (provitamin A).

The pumpkin can be eaten fresh, raw or steamed in salads, cakes and bread. The shelf life is excellent and the pumpkin can be stored cool and dry.
