Description
The scabiosa "Drumstick" is much appreciated for its beautiful, rustling seed capsules and is wonderful in dried flower arrangements. It also looks great in fresh flower bouquets.
Tips:
- Germination can be accelerated by storing the seeds in the refrigerator for a week before sowing.
- Scabiosa fowers can be cut at different stages.
- The cut flowers will last even longer in a vase if the flowers are still buds or are only partially opened when cut.
- Cut flowers last up to 8 days in a vase.
- Once dried, the seed heads can be stored for several months.
