Description
This traditional species grows in with a greenish-yellow colour. The cucumbers should grow in protected, sunny areas. The cucumbers grow well planted in a crater and surrounded by stones to trap the heat in.
Planting:
- Soak the seeds in chamomile tea overnight.
- In sunny weather, plant at the end of April, under glass with plenty of compost in a planter. Transplant into a pot and plant at the end of May with a spacing of 40 cm. Keep the rows 1.5 metres apart.
- The plants can be planted outdoors at the end of May.
- Use two seeds per hole.
