Description
Ribwort plantain is inconspicuous in appearance, but is a valuable medicinal plant. The leaves can be dried and made into tea. The plant hibernates underground and sprouts again the following year.
Growing tips:
- Plant outdoors from the end of March to mid-April
- Grow any time indoors
- Sprinkle the seeds on the moist soil and only cover them a little or not at all
- Cover with cling film and punch holes in it
- Remove the foil for 2 hours every two to three days
- Keep substrate moist but not wet
