Description
The Kousa Dogwood is suitable for outdoor planting in Europe as it is winter hardy. The creamy white flowers develop into edible fruits (they taste like lychees or raspeberries) in autumn which is alos when the green leaves turn into gorgeous shades of yellow and orange. A great tree for year-round interest in the garden.
Tips for cultivation:
- Soak seeds in water for twelve hours
- Then press them around 1 cm deep into moist potting compost
- Cover with cling film and poke with holes for ventilation
- Remove the film every two to three days for 2 hours
- Do not let the potting soil dry out
