Christmas is only half as festive and joyful without a gorgeous, fragrant Christmas tree decked out with glittering ornaments. And decorating a tree that you've grown from seed is a joy like no other. On average, a Christmas tree takes around 7-8 years to grow from seed.

Contents:

- 5 Nordmann fir plant seeds (Abies nordmanniana)
- 1 compostable coconut pot
- 1 coconut swelling tablet
- 1 growing instructions

Cultivation:

• Soak the seeds in cold water for approx. 12 hours
• Then store in an air-permeable dish in the refrigerator for approx. 12 hours.
• Remove the seeds from the fridge and moisten with cold water. Make sure that no water remains in the bowl.
• Repeat the last step every two days.
• After around 3 to 5 weeks, the first white shoots will appear - the seedling can now be planted.
• Soak the coconut substrate tab in the coconut pot with a little lukewarm water until it swells.
• Place a maximum of 2 seeds approx. 1 cm deep in the coconut substrate.
• Place the pot in a warm, sunny spot.
• First application of fertiliser: when the sapling is approx. 10 cm tall.

• When the sapling is about 10 cm tall, it can be transferred either into a pot or into the ground (outdoors).
• Protect it from frost for the first few years
• After planting, it takes around 7 years to grow into a stately Christmas tree (approx. 2 m).
