Description
The non-hardy Kiepenkerl Persian clover is a long-standing source of green manure. This contributes significantly to the healthy maintenance and improvement of the garden's soil and thus increases the yield and the quality of succeeding crops such as vegetables and flowers. The strong roots loosen the soil. They attract root nodule bacteria, and enrich the nitrogen content of the soil. Persian clover is therefore particularly well suited as a pre-culture for plants that need a lot of nitrogen such as cabbage and leeks. The intensely scented honey flowers are ideal for attracting bees.
