This basil has attractive brown and red leaves. It is very flavourful and makes great edible decorations. The plant is annual and grows to a height of 20-50 cm.
Enjoy this basil with tomatoes, herbal sauces, vegetable dishes and salads. Combine with rosemary and sage to flavour fish dishes. The herb can be frozen, pickled or stored in oil or vinegar.
