The snack bag in the Bee design is an environmentally friendly alternative to conventional packaging made of single-use plastic. The linen bag has an inner lining made of PUL, which makes it waterproof on the inside and can be machine washed at 30°C. Now you can safely carry your favourite lunch or snack with you wherever you go without creating extra waste!

What is PUL and what are its advantages?

PUL is a polyester fabric paired with a thin, elastic plastic film. The two components are bonded together with heat, pressure and adhesive. A "green" polyurethane hot melt adhesive is used here which is solvent-free, environmentally friendly and does not release any volatile organics.

The advantages of PUL are durability and robustness. Because it can be machine washed and reused, it is a far more environmentally friendly option compared to single-use plastic. The PUL fabric is CPSIA certified and meets the stringent standards of the US Consumer Products Safety Commission on lead, phthalates and flammability. The material is also certified for repeated-use food storage.
