Description
This dark green romaine lettuce is very resilient even in cooler temperatures. It forms ideally sized heads, as well as very tasty leaves.
Our tips:
- Early sowing in seed boxes
- If necessary, thin the seedlings
- Germination temperature: 10 to 16°C - higher temperatures can have a germination-inhibiting effect
- Requires loose, humus-rich soil
- Only fertilise carefully - sensitive to salt
- Harvest as soon as firm leaves have developed
- Earlier harvest possible by covering with foil or fleece
