Description
The safflower is a very attractive summer flower that not only cuts a fine figure in the garden, but also works in bouquets and as a dried flower.
Our tips:
- Light germinator - cover the seeds only lightly with soil
- Germination temperature: 18 - 20°C
- Avoid transplanting because of the long taproot
- Sow broadly or in rows
- Do not sow too thickly in a row so that the plants can develop well and form strong stems
- Requires a nutrient-rich, humus-rich, loosened garden soil
