Description

These beautiful stringless runner beans grow yellow pods. Ideal for fresh consumption in veggie dishes and salads, and also suitable for freezing. The medium early variety is suitable for growing in greenhouses or outdoors. This variety is resistant to bean mosaic virus (V1).

Sowing:

  • Never plant in cold, damp weather. Plant in warm, nutrient-rich soils in a sunny location. Make sure to water regularly. At the beginning of May, plant 4-5 beans in pots. Ideally, soak the seeds overnight in water to speed up germination. Plant at a depth of approx. 3 cm. Until the plants grow to a height of 15cm, it's recommended to heap earth around their bases. Plant outdoors after the last frost. Plant outdoors after the last frost until the beginning of July, only in warm soil! Plant 3-5 plants per row. Follow up with more seeds from mid-May to late June for a long harvest. The beans like to be planted with celery, cabbages, cucumbers, radishes, lettuce, nasturtium and zucchini. Do not grow with peas, leeks and fennel.
