Description
This vigorous autumn variety produces firm, round-to-oval heads with heavily crinkled, emerald-green outer leaves and a short core. With its excellent, delicate flavour, it is a favourite for the whole family.
Our Tips:
- Sowing & Planting: Start seeds indoors: from late January for planting out from mid-March.
- Germination temperature: 15 to 20°C.
- Ensure the soil is well-loosened before transplanting.
- Important: Do not allow seedlings to become "root-bound" or overgrown in their pots, as this can trigger premature bolting.
- Thrives best in cooler summers and temperate regions.
- Consistent and ample watering is essential for healthy development.
