Bingenheimer Saatgut Chives "Schmitt"

This vigorous, medium-tubed chive variety produces an abundance of firm, upright stems and possesses excellent regenerative capacity, quickly growing back after each harvest.

Our Tips:

• Sowing: Start seeds indoors: from late February or sow directly outdoors from March.
• Container Gardening: If growing in pots, choose a container with at least a 5-litre capacity to allow for healthy root development.
• Maintenance: We recommend repotting annually into fresh, pre-fertilised potting soil (compost) to ensure the plant remains productive.
• Watering: Maintain a consistent water supply; chives prefer moist, well-drained conditions to prevent the stems from becoming tough.
