Description
The freshly harvested leaves of this annual plant can be added raw to salads or cooked like spinach. With their refreshingly spicy flavour, they always provide a very special touch.
Our tips:
- Optimal germination temperature: 20 to 25°C
- Mix seeds with sand if necessary for easier sowing
- Light germinator - do not cover seeds with soil, just press down lightly
- Sow evenly and later thin out to a distance of 15 cm in the row
- Suitable for any good soil
- Harvest young leaves before flowering
