Organic Fibre Mulch by Sonnenerde is a popular mulching material that is rich in nitrogen and many other nutrients. It can be used for vegetable patches as well as perennials and shrubs, and is also ideally suited for organic farming. If Fibre Mulch is used regularly for mulching, no additional fertilisation is required.

Production:

Organic Fibre Mulch is derived from the digestate of a biogas plant that exclusively processes organic cattle manure. The material is subsequently separated and dried. As the fibre mulch consists primarily of unprocessed straw residues, it is relatively stable and easy to apply. Furthermore, the initial scent of cattle manure dissipates after the first rainfall.

Application:

• Apply a layer of Organic Fibre Mulch 2 to 3 cm thick, ensuring the entire soil surface is covered.
• This process applies to vegetable and perennial beds, as well as tree pits and shrub plantings.
• Organic Fibre Mulch can also be used as an additive for various potting soils.
• To prevent the soil from drying out and to ensure a constant supply of essential nutrients, the ground should never be left bare. A layer of mulch is therefore an indispensable advantage.
