NeudoHum Cactus & Succulent Soil supplies everything these plants need to thrive. Thanks to an organic starter fertilisation, they remain well-nourished for several weeks. At the same time, the substrate offers excellent stability due to a high clay content and prevents waterlogging through the inclusion of sand.

Application:

• Remove the soil from the packaging and loosen it thoroughly.
• The ideal time for repotting is in spring or immediately after flowering.
• Select a new pot that is approximately 2 cm larger in diameter than the old pot.
• To pot or repot, fill 1/3 of the pot with soil.
• Shake off as much of the old, exhausted soil as possible and remove any diseased roots.
• Hold the plants to be potted in the centre of the pot so that the roots are spread out evenly.
• Trickle the remaining soil all around, press down firmly, and then water carefully until the soil is thoroughly moistened.
• The organic fertilisation with natural fertiliser guarantees a plant-appropriate nutrient supply for 3–4 weeks. Thereafter, the plants should be treated with a suitable specialised fertiliser.

Expert Tips:

• When repotting cacti, use wooden tongs, a glove, or two pieces of polystyrene to help avoid injury from the spines.
• Ensure good drainage of excess water to avoid waterlogging.
• Also suitable for repotting bonsai plants.
