Description
Beetroot D'Egypte is an early, fast-growing variety that produces flat, round beetroots and is suitable for beds and raised beds. The flesh is a beautiful dark red colour with subtle rings.
Tips:
- Thin out seedling soon after germination
- Harvest before the first frost
- Cook, peel and prepare with the skin, pickle or freeze
- Can be stored in sandboxes in the cellar until spring (harvest and store late sets from June sowing before the first frost)
