Description
This high-yielding, mid-early variety is slow to bolt and produces large, tender leaves. It is exceptionally versatile, making it suitable for spring and autumn cultivation as well as over-wintering.
Our Tips:
- Sowing Rate:
- For leaf spinach: 300–400 g per 100 m² (approx. 60–80 seeds per linear metre).
- For root-harvested spinach: 150–200 g per 100 m² (approx. 30–50 seeds per linear metre).
- Soil Requirements: Prefers a moist, loose, and well-structured soil.
- Soil Improver: Can also be used effectively as "green manure" to improve soil health and nitrogen levels.
- Seasonal Note: Summer cultivation is not recommended, as high temperatures and long days cause the plants to bolt (flower) rapidly.
