Description
The mixed-flowering slicing cucumber "Arola" produces long fruits with medium to dark green skin. This robust variety is highly resistant to pests and diseases.
Our Tips:
- The optimal germination temperature is between 25 and 28 °C.
- Seedlings should still be relatively small when transplanted.
- The plants require a minimum temperature of 12 °C to thrive.
- Do not pinch out the side shoots, as this is where the fruit is formed.
- The side shoots should be trained upwards as they grow.
- Cultivation is possible both outdoors and in a greenhouse.
- Cucumbers should only be grown on the same patch of soil once every four years.
