The Paperwhite Narcissus (Tazetta) brings a beautiful scent and festive spirit to your home. Due to its early flowering time it is called the Christmas daffodil.

The Tazetta conjures up a wonderful burst of fragrance in your home for Christmas. Each bulb produces at least one flower stalk with numerous, small white, star-shaped flowers with orange stamens. The flowers have a strong scent and are very durable.

Tazetta daffodils can be cultivated without soil in glass bowls. A layer of pebbles makes the plant low maintenance. The daffodils are placed close together on the gravel layer. First, the glasses are placed in a cool (about 8 to 10 ° C) room, which may be slightly dark. The first roots and the shoots begin to sprout after just four or five days. Approximately four to six weeks after planting the buds start to show and the flowering starts. It lasts for several weeks if the plants are kept in a warm and bright place like on a window sill. The flower stems can grow up to 40 cm high and should be supported with branches or decorative twigs.
