This charming wildflower is native to the steppes and prairies of North America. The cute lavender colored bell-shaped blooms and finely fringed edges quickly wins your heart. It's quite a looker! Growing to about 30 cm in height it soon forms a low carpet of flowers for sunny borders, rock gardens and natural gardens.
Particularly pretty view in planters, trays, pots, window boxes or on sunny or partially shaded balconies and terraces.The nectar ready flowers attract numerous insects, colorful butterflies, bees, bumblebees and hoverflies. The plants bloom after a few weeks. They can be planted outdoors every 4 weeks from April-May until August.
