These onion-shaped Hokkaido pumpkins can weigh up to 1.5 kg. The firm, deep orange flesh tastes nutty and can be eaten with the skin. The pumpkins can be started in April and planted outdoors after the frost in May. They can be grown in flower beds or also in planters.
