• The delicate leaves of this red leaf lettuce delight with their beautiful colour and pleasant taste. It grows on all soils and prefers a sunny location with moderate temperatures. The plants should not be transplanted too deeply- plant at a depth of around 5 cm. Frequent watering makes the leaves particularly tender and ensures that the lettuce grows faster. However, when the heads start to close and the lettuce becomes firmer, water less and more carefully.

Our tip:

• If you sow the seeds thinly every two to three weeks, you can harvest the lettuce all year round.
