• This green and red leaf lettuce grows very nice, compact rosettes and grows on all garden soils. It prefers a sunny location with moderate temperatures. The plants should not be transplanted too deeply - plant at a depth of around 5 cm. Frequent watering makes the leaves particularly tender and ensures that the lettuce grows faster. However, when the heads start to close and the lettuce becomes firmer, water them less and more carefully.

Our tip:

• If you sow the seeds thinly every two to three weeks, you can harvest the lettuce all year round.
