Description

This "Engelerde" natural fertiliser from volcanic Styria is formed from fermentation substrates from a biogas plant. The fermentation substrate is pumped into a drying system specially developed for this purpose, unique in Austria, and dried to the desired moisture content.

  1. The constant removal of fermentation substrate from the biogas plant - constantly stirred and fed with the same nutrients - ensures a homogeneous fermentation substrate. Dilute sulphuric acid is added to the drying process, which is used to bind ammonia and removes the smell.
  2. The drying process produces hard balls made of organic material. These are then ground to a homogeneous size of 8mm with the aid of a cutting mill. Other additives that have a positive biological effect on the fertiliser are also mixed in. These are FKE from Multikraft GmbH and zeolite (rock dust). "Engelerde" has a positive effect on the soil. The organic substance promotes, among other things, the build-up of humus, due to a close C/N ratio of the fertiliser. Microbes in the soil can use and convert the organic material better thanks to this ratio. This also promotes the water retention capacity, the air balance and results in crumbly soil.
  3. By grinding the balls, a larger and coarser surface is obtained. This mixes better with the soil and can be better absorbed. The effects of "Engelerde" on the soil can be seen in both the short and long term, as the process of humus build-up is fluid.

Application areas:

On green areas, ornamental lawns and sports lawns. Water well. Can be used on other surfaces.

Use twice a year:

  • A slightly reduced amount is recommended on green areas, sports and natural lawns. Spring application 140-160g/m² (March, April, May). Autumn application 60-80g/m² (September, October, November)

70g = 125m or 150g = 250ml

  • In house gardens, raised beds and vegetable gardens, higher doses are advantageous. Spring application 300g/m² Autumn application 150g/m²

150g = 250ml or 300g = 500ml

Note: Amounts refer to experience in practical application that has been tried and tested.

Climate-friendly and sustainable:

  • Another point that has to be emphasised is that with this fertiliser you are helping the environment. The biogas plant is operated with pig manure, waste from the food industry and renewable raw materials to generate electricity. At the same time, the waste heat from the biogas plant is used to produce high-quality fertiliser. This also increases the efficiency of the system and further conserves valuable resources. Thanks to this well-thought-out process, “Engelerde” is produced in a climate-friendly and sustainable manner.

Safety instructions:

  • Not suitable for human or animal consumption. Wash your hands thoroughly after use.
