Empfinger Organic Premium Soil for Raised Beds

This organic premium raised bed soil consists of a mixture of plant fibers, wood fibers, ripe compost and clay. The wonderful soil is perfect as the top layer of plants for your raised bed. Also for beds, planters and greenhouses.

Why should you be careful to use peat-free soil?
'' Peat '' is a type of soil that is typical of bogs and stores large amounts of CO². If this is used for garden soil, the moors have to be drained for it and thus lose their ability to absorb these large amounts of CO².

Materials:
Fresh wood fibers (physically treated), quality compost A + (in accordance with the compost ordinance for hobby horticulture), bark humus, sand, clay and organic NPK fertilizer.
