Description

This small and early ripening butternut squash produces fruits weighing 1 to 1.2kg. These taste excellent and have intensely dark coloured flesh. They are great canned, boiled, and baked.

Our tips:

Sow inside from mid-March, direct sowing from mid-May
Germination temperature: 12-24°C (soil temperature)
Sow 3 to 4 seeds per planting site
Requires humus-rich, nutritious, warm soils
Sensitive to frost
Harvest the first fruits early so that the plant has enough strength to produce new fruits
