Description
Tatsoi is a variant of Pak Choi. The dark, round, thick leaves can be prepared both raw or the way you would spinach.
- Uncomplicated cultivation - germinates and grows quickly
- Quite frost hardy
- Rotary cultivation recommended to avoid infestation with clubroot
- Initially, protection against the cold is required on cold nights
- Quite hardy and storable for a long time
- Always keep moist.
Sow:
Directly outdoors or in a cold frame from March to July, and from mid-August to mid-September. Do not sow too closely together. Transplant as soon as the first real leaves appear. Transplant to 30x30 cm.
Harvest:
The first leaves can be harvested 4-5 weeks after sowing. Always cut the outer leaves so that the heart can grow back.
